Coining isiZulu terms for Science and Technology. These terms are shared on social media for public awareness. The primary purpose of isiChazamazwi sabahumushi is to promote isiZulu as an academic language capable of functioning effectively as a language of science, scholarship, and professional discourse. The initiative employs a comprehensive range of terminology development strategies that are aligned with the internal linguistic structures and expressive resources of isiZulu. These strategies include both contemporary methods of term creation and historically grounded techniques traditionally used by early isiZulu speakers. In line with this approach, preference is given to the coining of original isiZulu terms rather than the adoption of borrowed or loanwords. Newly developed terms are carefully rooted in isiZulu ideophones, verb forms, and established indigenous naming practices, ensuring linguistic authenticity, cultural continuity, and conceptual clarity.
